Undergraduate courses are usually taken at universities, but can also be taken at colleges. Most undergraduate courses last three years, while some take longer. Many universities offer the option of a year’s placement in industry. Including diploma courses, there are over 40,000 university courses in some 150 degree disciplines at 500 institutions.
