A pupil at an independent boarding school must have a UK guardian. Many Hong Kong families have a relative or friend who can act as the guardian. If you do not have anyone suitable, we can introduce a choice of guardianship agencies to find a British family for your child to stay with at half-terms and exeat weekends when the school closes. The guardian will make transport arrangements and coordinate with the school on behalf of your child.
Host families are visited and inspected regularly by their guardian agency and undergo a Disclosure & Barring Service check to ensure they do not have a criminal record. You can therefore be assured that your child will be safe and comfortable.
